20% Off The Job (OTJ)
An important part of any apprenticeship is being given sufficient time to learn new knowledge and skills, and develop new behaviours. The ESFA, the fund body for apprenticeships decides that this should constitute no less than 20% of an apprentices contracted working time.

Industry Visits
Shadowing and Mentoring
Teaching, lectures, seminars or online study
Work-based projects, e-portfolio and research
Training & attending competitions

Not Eligible:
English & Maths Level 2
Progress reviews
Training outside of working hours (unless given time in lieu)
