Vacancy description

Testometric machines have force capabilities ranging from 5N to 1000kN and to accommodate the many different testing requirements a wide range of grips and fixtures is required. Production of these fixtures will be the main job function and as they are comprised of both made-in-house and bought-in components.

With only 9 people involved in the mechanical production of the machines a flexible attitude and a willingness to share tasks with colleagues when required is an essential part of the job.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to, milling, drilling, turning, assembly and fitting.

An Apprentice at Testometric can expect to gain a broad knowledge of engineering skills and will also learn about materials and product testing.
