Farrel Limited are part of the HF Mixing Group, a global business which develops and produces machines for the plastics and rubber industry with a high level of professional technical expertise. In particular, these includ mixers for the manufacturer of technical rubber goods and the tyre industry.
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, the Business Admin Apprentice role has the responsibility for the buying and expediting of a wide variety of goods and services at the Rochdale site.

Vacancy description

  • Expedite supliers for on-time delivery of all orders using an Open Purchase Order report
  • Change due dates on our SAP system based on reply from suppliers
  • Notify the buyers and production of major delays
  • Progress chase improved delivery of specific orders
  • Administrative duties as required

Things to consider

  • All employees are paid monthly.
  • 25 days holiday per year (January - December) plus statutory holidays.
  • There is a shut down between Christmas and New Year each year, therefore up to 4 days holidays must be reserved to cover this.

Working week; Monday to Thursday 08.15am-16.30pm Friday 08.15am-15.15pm 30 minutes unpaid lunch each day
