Blue Pits Housing Action is a registered charity providing specialist supported living and homecare to adults aged 18-80 who are in need of housing and support. Our tenants may have mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities.

This role includes providing admin support to the company. The role will include several office based activities. The successful candidate will spend time in each project in order to develop their understanding of how the business operates. The role will develop along with the individual and hopefully progress onto the advanced apprenticeship.

Daily tasks will include: -

  • Dealing with clients face to face and taking telephone enquiries.
  • Entering data into a web based Domiciliary Care software package.
  • Scanning and saving confidential documents.
  • Photocopying.
  • Maintaining and auditing staff and tenant files.
  • General office duties.
  • Meet and greet visitors to the office and other projects.
  • Responding to emails.
  • Meet and greet new and existing clients.
  • Reporting to the Project Lead.
  • Working as a team.

  • Experience is desirable, but not essential. A good work ethic with confident personality is essential

Future prospects

Full support to move into a Level 3 qualification following successful completion of a Level 2 qualification (subject to successful interview).
