Fundraising for Yasin

16th Jun 2017

Rochdale training staff have been taking part in a “dress-down” day to raise funds for Yasin Khan who has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer.

A caring husband, father and friend, over the years Yasin has served his community well and helped to positively impact and enrich the lives of many through his many roles that he juggled simultaneously.

He has been a youth worker, police constable and an equality officer at Rochdale Council tackling subjects like extremism and community relations with positivity and has been delivering Prevent training to Rochdale Training for the past few years.

Rochdale Training will hold other fundraising events over the next couple of weeks:

“Cake Sale” on Friday 23rd June - Yummy cakes will be available in the downstairs kitchen from 10:00am onwards.  We hope to raise lots of funds from these goods – an honesty box will be in place for your contribution to this cause. Your donations will be appreciated
