Electrical Assessor Required

Part time/Full time - negotiable
Must have A1/A2 or TAQA.
Must hold Minimum L3 qualification in relevant area. ...
Mainly onsite assessment but will be occasionally required for in centre assessment
Must have experience /knowledge of installation, testing & commissioning single phase electrical meters.
Assessment locations to be in & around the Greater Manchester area.

Employer Engagement Advisor 

We are looking to recruit an Employer Engagement Advisor to help increase the number of Apprentices undertaking Apprenticeships through Rochdale Training by engaging local employers and selling the benefits of work-based learning to: 
- Employers (targeting the key decision makers).
- Employees (promoting work based qualifications to existing staff)
- Young people (existing staff and to young people wanting an apprenticeship)
Undertake TNAs (Training Needs Analyses) with senior staff, promote the business case for training and advise on the Apprenticeship Levy.  
Promote the benefits of ‘upskilling’ both for individuals and for employers.
Increase the number of Rochdale Training Member Companies, especially Gold and Silver Member Companies.   Increase commercial/Health & Safety training revenue engaging both new and existing companies.  
Source and engage employers via cold calling, telephone activity, emails and other marketing methods.  
Engage decision makers to secure new and repeat business.  
Work to achieve monthly targets/KPI’s based on job outcomes and retention

Applicants should have:
Proven sales skills and or a demonstrable record of meeting & exceeding targets in a given field of work (experience of Work-Based Learning or promoting Apprenticeships is not an essential requirement for the post). We will consider applications from anyone who can demonstrate success in engaging employers and can transfer these skills to the Apprenticeship and training arena. Experience of targeting and gaining commitment from key individuals, managers and/or Directors in companies. Experience of successful negotiating and selling at all levels. The capacity to increase Apprenticeship take-up in Business areas (business admin, IT, customer service, retail), Engineering occupations (fabrication, mechanical, electrical, maintenance etc.), Management, Health and Social Care, Warehousing and others. Proven experience of negotiating/winning/closing new business. Excellent communication skills – written & verbal. Excellent sales, marketing and networking skills. Competent at securing new business by all methods including cold calling.  

A full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.

SALARY negotiable (dependent on skills and experience) plus commission.
