Rochdale Training has been providing Apprenticeship training for employers and learners since 1966. Rated GOOD in all areas by Ofsted, we are proud of our strong relationships with employers who offer Apprenticeships and work placements across Greater Manchester.

Due to significant growth, we are looking to expand our adult learner recruitment team. You will be required to engage new learners for all our programs with a key focus on our Skills Bootcamps for adults. Ongoing learner support will include arranging and sourcing interviews and work experience with suitable employers. The role is targeted with a generous uncapped commission.

Full Vacancy Description:

The focus of the role is to recruit learners to our adult learning courses. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, such as libraries, jobcentres, community organisations and Colleges. The role is based in Rochdale, although you will be expected to work with partners across Greater Manchester.

Requirements:

  • Recruit suitable learners for a range of courses to help develop their skills and make them more able to find employment.
  • Providing help and advice in a range of ways, including face-to-face meetings, providing also email, telephone or zoom advice, when is needed.
  • Promote the services and products provided by Rochdale Training at every opportunity, including external events, meetings and communications.
  • Organise and attend internal/external recruitment events.
  • Establish opportunities for productive working relationships with partner organisations and referral agencies.
  • Meet operational targets for learner recruitment as defined by the Marketing Manager.
  • Engage employers with suitable employment and work experience opportunities and coordinate interviews for learners.
  • Create, collate and manage data into reports.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven track record in successful learner recruitment and retention or similar.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, evaluating and interpreting information, drawing conclusions and recommending practical solutions.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in taking personal responsibility for sales-related targets, managing projects, monitoring progress and ensuring delivery to deadlines.
  • Good IT Experience including the use of MS Teams/Zoom as well as Microsoft Office Packages,
  • Self-organised & be able to manage a diary highly effectively.
  • Self-motivated & able to work on their own initiative as well as working in a team.
  • The ability to drive with access to a car as the role will require travelling to different stakeholder sites (Expenses will be paid for mileage & parking).

Hours Per Week:

Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Salary:

£22,000 + Uncapped Realistic Commission
