Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

· You will receive full in house training on how to use Autocad software to create bespoke fire safety drawings. This will range from the drawing of simple buildings to the creation of more complex drawings that will show fire alarm zones and the position of fire alarm devices, wiring, address numbers etc. · You will be responsible for the printing and framing of the finished drawings and arranging the despatch via Fedex. · You will be provided a mentor through your apprenticeship who will assist with all your training needs. · You will gain an understanding of how fire alarm systems work within a commercial premises

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4 or above) essential

Please research the location of Rochdale Training as well as the location of the employer to ensure that you can travel to both locations. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship.
