Mark Vincent

Mark Vincent - Welding Bootcamp to full-time employment

Mark completed the Welding Bootcamp with our manufacturing provider Rochdale training. He always wanted to get into engineering and manufacturing but said he never felt he had the right support to learn new skills. Over the course of the Skills Bootcamp Mark learned about MIG Welding, general engineering and how to safely operate machinery. Tutors at Rochdale Training also supported me with interview skills and writing a CV. Rochdale Training arranged several interviews with local employers after Mark completed the Skills Bootcamp. He got offered a works trial with local employer Ventilation and Design Services in Oldham. He was then successful and was offered a full-time position!
