Early Years Educator Apprentice

This is an ideal opportunity to join an excellent friendly nursery based in Littleborough. You will be required to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years and ensure the nursery is a safe environment for children. You will need to be responsible for any reasonable tasks delegated by the Assistant Manager/Nursery Manager

Main Duties Include:

To contribute to a programme of activities that meets the individual needs and interests of children in your area.
To ensure that the nursery meets the requirements of Ofsted at all times
Engage in good teamwork
Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
To understand and work with nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
To Help plan activities which are developmentally appropriate for individual children
Read understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role as deemed appropriate by the Manager
To help ensure records are properly maintained e.g. daily register, accident and incident records and risk assessments
To assist staff in delivering an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation that enables children to make individual
