Early Years Educator Apprentice

This is an ideal opportunity to join an excellent friendly nursery based in Littleborough. You will be required to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years and ensure the nursery is a safe environment for children. You will need to be responsible for any reasonable tasks delegated by the Assistant Manager/Nursery Manager

Main Duties Include:
- To contribute to a programme of activities that meets the individual needs and interests of children in your area.
- To ensure that the nursery meets the requirements of Ofsted at all times
- Engage in good teamwork
- Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
- To understand and work with nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
- To Help plan activities which are developmentally appropriate for individual children
- Read understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role as deemed appropriate by the Manager
- To help ensure records are properly maintained e.g. daily register, accident and incident records and risk assessments
- To assist staff in delivering an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation that enables children to make individual
Qualifications:
GCSE or Equivalent in Maths and English at a grade C/4 and above are essential.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. 39 hours per week. Shifts are to be confirmed at the interview.
Salary:
£12,979.2 per annum
Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
Apprenticeship learning will take place in the workplace.
Progression:
Once qualified, progression is offered to the correct candidate, this could be a full-time position.
