We are looking for an individual with a high level of enthusiasm to learn and grow within an engineering manufacturing machine environment. This is a great opportunity for someone to be part of a great company and acquire the skills and knowledge required of an experience Engineer.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Always have a safety-first mentality
  • Full training will be given on site and via Rochdale Training in order for the candidate to :-
  • Apply lean manufacturing and methods to the task in hand
  • Apply and understand the need for continuous improvements
  • Achieve the necessary level 3 Engineering Technician

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Work based training – being assigned a mentor and gaining experience on various types of machine- to include one week per month / one day per week in the training centre – whichever is specified by Rochdale Training.

Essential qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) essential
