In 2022 -23 Highlights of our achievements include;
Staff spending 240 hrs to offer into-work assistance to unemployed people through career mentoring, mock interviews, CV advice and careers guidance
A part of our aim to offer free expert business advice to small employers and voluntary groups, we ran a Health & Safety Breakfast event in April 23, presented by Peter Palmer CMIOSH FIIRSM (OSHCR). This addressed issues such as Learning from recent HSE Prosecutions and 5 common weaknesses of Health & Safety Management Systems found during site visits/audits.
We raised £1,329.50 (plus 20% gift aid) through a 10-mile walk for Rochdale MIND.
Marketing staff spent 224 hrs visiting schools for careers events/talks to Assemblies – to promote Traineeships and Apprenticeships and discuss potential career pathways upon leaving school.
All our staff have access to comprehensive and multidimensional wellbeing programmes.
95% of our spend on the Welding Bootcamp for pre-employed and employed staff in local companies was done locally.
We are registered as a Supporter of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
Our Social Value Plans for 2023 -2024 are ;
We’ll be delivering IOSH Managing Safely courses and are offering employers 1 free place on each course (usually £395).
To help people seeking work to gain employment – we're also offering free IOSH Working Safely training (places available on the next course and free First Aid for Mental Health training.
To help the Care sector, we’re offering free Administration of Medication Training.
Staff will be offering free into-work assistance to unemployed people through career mentoring, mock interviews, CV advice and careers guidance.

We aim to raise money again through a 10-mile walk for a local charity.
