Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker
Short Vacancy Description:
We have an apprentice sheet metal worker apprentice position available with the successful candidate working with experienced fabricators & welders. We are looking for someone with passion and determination to carry out the day-to-day tasks that are set.
Full Vacancy Description:
You would be working across a varied product range, and your duties/training may include;
- Understanding of materials
- Understanding of fabrication drawings
- Dimensional Inspection
- Understanding of marking out using the correct tools
- Use of hand tools
- Welding Tig/Mig
- A clear understanding of Health & Safety & Procedures

Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade C / 4 and above) essential
Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Training:
Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard
Apprenticeship learning will take place in the workplace and you will attend Rochdale Training Centre on a day-release basis.
Progression:
Once qualified, progression i offered to the correct candidate, this could be a full-time role and further progression within the organisation.
