£14,500.00 a year - Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (to be confirmed).

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Working within the administration and reception team, you will support the smooth running of the GP surgery and help provide an efficient service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors professionally at reception
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Booking and managing patient appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient records and confidential information
- Supporting administrative processes across the surgery
- Scanning, filing and organising documents
- Processing emails and responding to basic enquiries
- Supporting clinicians and practice staff with administration tasks
- Using IT systems and healthcare databases
- Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly within a busy healthcare setting.

- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths (Essential)
