Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The Alpine EDGE Programme is a structured 12-month rotational programme designed to develop early career talent into high-performing technical and operational professionals.
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will rotate through key departments, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to live projects and working towards your Level 3 qualification.
Rotational Placements (2–4 months per rotation)
You may gain experience across areas including:
- Proposals
- Design
- Pre-Construction
- Projects & Rapids
- Service Engineering (Sprinklers & Pumps)
- Completions
- Service Delivery
- Health & Safety
Across each rotation you will:
- Support day-to-day team activities
- Assist with live projects and operational tasks
- Work towards rotation-specific KPIs and learning objectives
- Develop knowledge of fire suppression engineering processes
- Build strong professional relationships
- Deliver an end-of-rotation presentation to Directors outlining your achievements and learning
This role offers real responsibility, structured development and the opportunity to understand how multiple departments operate within a technical engineering business.

Training
You will complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship (funded via the Apprenticeship Levy).

Requirements
Essential qualifications
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (essential)
- Engineering-related subjects (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
