Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Help plan and implement appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor) working within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Prepare and set up wall boards and displays.
Serve and help prepare meals and snacks given to the children.
Undertake cleaning duties necessary to promote high standards of childcare.
To set up toys/areas for play.
To leave the nursery tidy and secure.
Be mindful at all times of the safety of the children.
Always adhere to the nursery safeguarding policies and procedures.
Take out any other duties deemed necessary to promote high standards of care, education, and safety within the setting.
