This is an Apprentice role. You will be a part of a time at Beehive, where we are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and education for all the children. You will be supporting qualified staff with the daily routines.

£11,778 to £19,047.60 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Main duties to include:

  • To Learn the skills of a professional nursery nurse
  • Work as part of a team
  • Learn how to provide high-quality care and education to our children
  • Demonstrate commitment to achieving your apprenticeship
  • Work closely with your assessor
  • Understanding the importance of health and Safety in your role
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and use your initiative when tasks have been given to you
  • Promote diversity and equality
  • Learn to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Contribute to and complete children's observations
  • Complete any mandatory that’s required

Training

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential qualifications

  • GCSE Early Years (Grade Level 2) essential
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) essential
