Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Undertaking general engineering activities including:
- Fabrication and sheet metal
- Turning, milling, drilling and pipe bending as well as using state of the art machinery in order to maintain and refurbish equipment
- All aspects of spring manufacturing using the latest manufacturing methods for metal forming
- The ideal candidate will have confidence to deal with various individuals and groups
- You will be supported to undertake recognised qualifications whilst gaining on the job experience
- You will need to be a team player, reliable, adaptable, conscientious, and able to follow instruction
