An exciting opportunity to join Harrison Brothers Furniture as an Office Administration Apprentice, supporting day-to-day office operations while completing a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Working within the office team, you will support the smooth running of daily business operations and gain experience across a range of administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries professionally
  • Responding to emails and customer queries
  • Supporting order processing and updating company systems
  • Filing, scanning and organising business documents
  • Assisting with invoicing and general finance administration
  • Maintaining accurate customer and supplier records
  • Supporting stock and delivery administration where required
  • Using Microsoft Office systems including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Supporting colleagues with general office duties and administration tasks

This role will provide valuable experience in administration, communication and organisation within a manufacturing and commercial environment.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

You will complete the Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Training will include:

  • Structured off-the-job training with Rochdale Training

  • IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Time management and organisation

Requirements

Essential qualifications

  • ·  GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths (Required)

    ·  GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English (Required)
