Engineering Training Officers – 2 Positions
£35,000–£40,000 per year
Are you an experienced engineer who would like to use your knowledge to help develop the next generation?
We’re looking for people with industry experience across areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, maintenance, engineering fitting, fabrication & welding, machining/manufacturing or multi-skilled engineering.
You’ll coach, mentor, train and support engineering apprentices, working with both learners and employers.
You do not need to already be a teacher or assessor. If you have the right engineering experience and knowledge, we’ll support you to gain the qualifications and skills you need for the role.

Electrical Tutor/Assessor
£30,000 - £35,000 per year
An opportunity for an experienced electrical professional to move into training and help develop future electricians.
You’ll deliver practical workshop and classroom training across areas including electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding, inspection and testing, supporting learners working towards electrical qualifications and apprenticeships.
Again, formal teaching or assessing qualifications are not essential when you join us. We’re looking for strong electrical industry experience and occupational knowledge, and we can support you to develop the teaching and assessing side of the role.

Employment & Progression Officer
£27,000 per year + realistic monthly commission
Help our learners take their next step into employment, apprenticeships, further education, volunteering and other positive destinations.
You’ll build relationships with employers across Greater Manchester, identify vacancies and opportunities, arrange recruitment activities and connect our learners directly with employers.
This could suit someone with experience in employer engagement, recruitment, business development, sales, account management or supporting people into employment or training.
