Job Description:
Are you an experienced Business, Team Leading or Customer Service professional with a passion for teaching and learner success? We’re looking for a motivated Tutor/Assessor to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training and support learners from induction through to End Point Assessment.

The Role
You will plan, deliver and assess apprenticeship programmes across Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service standards. Alongside teaching and assessment, you’ll provide pastoral support, maintain strong employer relationships, and ensure learners achieve on time.
You’ll manage your own caseload, deliver engaging workshops and one-to-one sessions, and prepare learners thoroughly for EPA while embedding English, Maths, Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding and British Values throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver apprenticeship training through workshops and one-to-one sessions
- Conduct robust initial assessments and create individualised training plans
- Teach, assess and track knowledge, skills and behaviours against standards
- Carry out regular learner and employer reviews (remote or face-to-face)
- Prepare learners for gateway and End Point Assessment, including mock assessments
- Maintain accurate and compliant learner records using OneFile
- Build and maintain positive employer relationships
- Implement intervention plans to support retention and achievement
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, equality, diversity and health & safety
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Assessor qualification (or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification (or equivalent)
- Occupational competence in Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant sector
- Experience delivering apprenticeship standards
- Experience delivering Functional Skills
- Strong communication skills and learner-focused approach
- Experience working with young people and/or adults
- Commitment to safeguarding and learner welfare
- Must be able to drive with access to a vehicle as you will driving to sites in and around the Greater Manchester area
Desirable:
- Experience designing or contributing to curriculum
- Experience preparing learners for EPA
- Ability to motivate, support and retain learners
