Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Maintaining accounts records,
- Making copies and filing documents,
- Purchase ledger,
- Reconciling bank statements,
- Processing supplier invoices,
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries,
- Chasing outstanding payments and updating records,
- Raising BACs payments and DD runs.
- Deal with finance enquiries via e-mail and telephone
- Undertake credit control activities
- Bank Reconciliation
- Investigation of unmatched transactions and ensuring that these have been invoiced
- Liaising with colleagues in other departments in relation to queried transactions
- Reconciliation of specific supplier accounts to statement
- General finance support as required
