Apprentice Finance & Office Administrator - Lancashire Farm Dairies

Summary

We are seeking a candidate with initiative and a willingness to learn. As Finance Administrator, you will have good administrative and data entry skills and you will be a confident communicator over the phone and on emails. Good time management skills and a positive, proactive approach are essential.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Maintaining accounts records,
  • Making copies and filing documents,
  • Purchase ledger,
  • Reconciling bank statements,
  • Processing supplier invoices,
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries,
  • Chasing outstanding payments and updating records,
  • Raising BACs payments and DD runs.
  • Deal with finance enquiries via e-mail and telephone
  • Undertake credit control activities
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Investigation of unmatched transactions and ensuring that these have been invoiced
  • Liaising with colleagues in other departments in relation to queried transactions
  • Reconciliation of specific supplier accounts to statement
  • General finance support as required
