The role will be varied no 2 days are the same. We are a family run company that specialise in the design and manufacture of moulds and dies for the Plastics, Tubber and Diecasting industries. We are offering secure full-time employment with an opportunity to progress. We have an understanding approach to a modern working routine.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • You will also have a set of daily duties that you will be expected to carry out alongside your training.
  • During your apprenticeship you will learn to Mill, Turn, Mill, CMM.
  • You will learn how to read drawings, how to operate and program CNC Machines.
  • You will gain experience in each section of the production during your apprenticeship EDM, CNC, Manual, Fitting, Repairs.
  • This is a hands-on role where you will learn to assess a project and problem his solve as the Tool progresses through the Toolroom.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work well in a team is a must.
