This Apprenticeship is a brilliant way to gain new practical and professional skills, on-the-job training, nationally recognised qualifications and earn money at the same time. This Apprenticeship course is also available to those who are employed and want to upskill in the workplace.

Brief Description: 

Level 5 is beneficial for those who are currently working as senior practitioners, deputies, and managers of childcare settings. This course is ideal if you want to develop and enhance your practical leadership, and management knowledge and skills. As an Early Years Lead Practitioner in a day nursery, playgroup, nursery school, preschool, primary school, or working in health and social care settings, you will work as a proactive and influential practitioner, working directly with children, skillfully leading day-to-day practice at an operational level. Our training enables employers to support and develop employees as they progress through the Education and Childcare sector, providing comprehensive support to learners.

The Training Will Include:

  • Face-to-face and/or remote workshops together with the online learning
  • 1:1 support from a Tutor who will visit your workplace
  • Progress reviews are to be completed with your Tutor and line manager
  • Development of a work-based portfolio to evidence learning
  • End-point assessment (EPA)

Entry Requirements:

n order to complete the Apprenticeship, you will need English and Maths at Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE grade 9-4) but if you don't have these qualifications don't let this stop you from applying for the Apprenticeship as we may be able to help. Please note, you will need to be in a senior management position to be eligible for this programme.

Duration:

24 months plus EPA
