Engineering Operative apprentice - PREMIUM FABRICATIONS LIMITED

Summary

We are looking to recruit one apprentice on a paid one-month trial period, successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis. Apprentices shall be given the opportunity to complete recognised engineering qualifications at RTA (Rochdale Training Association).

Annual wage

£15,311.40 a year

£7.55 per hour this will be increased subject to progression

Hours: 39 hours a week Monday to Thursday 6am - 4pm, Friday closed
39 hours a week

Possible start date: 16 Apr 2025

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

You would be working across a varied product range, and your duties/training may include:

Understanding of materials
Understanding of technical drawings
Use of inspection equipment
To learn Milling and Turning on both conventional and CNC machinery
Dimensional Inspection
Use of hand tools
Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Procedures
