Bolton Care Assistant Overcome Challenges to Achieve NVQ Level 3 Success with Rochdale Training

Jaimelee Campbell, is a care assistant at Choices Homecare from Bolton, and she has successfully completed her NVQ Level 3 qualification, aiming to expand her role in the care sector and open doors to better opportunities.

Jaimelee admits the course wasn’t easy, especially as she faced struggles with her mental health. However, she credits the support of her tutor at Rochdale Training for helping her stay on track. “My tutor was amazing,” she said. “She was so patient, encouraging me not to give up, even answering emails after hours when I was stuck.”

Now qualified, Jaimelee is excited for the future and grateful for the experience. “I can’t praise Rochdale Training enough,” she added.

Celebrating Success: Functional Skills Achievements with Rochdale Training and Positive Steps

On Monday, 7th October 2024, Rochdale Training, in collaboration with Positive Steps, proudly celebrated the success of learners who achieved their Functional Skills English Level 1 qualification. This milestone marks a significant achievement for individuals who were previously Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET), giving them the opportunity to gain a formal qualification and progress toward brighter futures.

 

The commission, made possible by the funding secured through the Engaging Rochdale initiative by UKSPF, plays a crucial role in helping individuals overcome barriers and access meaningful learning and development opportunities. This partnership exemplifies the positive impact of community support, opening doors to further education, employment, and personal growth.
